Celler Arrufí

 Wines With Criteria

Celler Arrufí is a family winery formed by Sol and Esteve, together with their two sons. Always linked to the world of vineyards and wine, making with the grapes of their vineyards, with ecological certificate since 2008.

In 2015 they decided to make a new winery, a vital project for them. Something that would allow them the opportunity to express their way of understanding the sustainable cultivation of the vineyard. At the same time, to be able to produce and give the maximum expression and personality to its wines, enhancing all the characteristics of the grape.

Celler Arrufí wants to transmit and be the differential brand. In addition to know-how and passion for ecological, sustainable and quality development, spontaneity, innovation and freshness are first.

The winery is located in Batea, under the do Terra Alta quality seal.

ECOLOGICAL AND VEGAN WINES

D.O. Terra Alta

Panical

coupage

White Grenache 100%

vineyards

379m above sea level.

The soils of Terra Alta are usually frank and slimy, between neutral and slightly alkaline and with little organic matter. The most representative type of this soil is what we call here “panal".

Panal is a terrain with more predominance of sand than clay, resists compaction very well and retains the moisture necessary for the development of the plant, allowing it to reach maturation without excessive problems of exhaustion.

harvest

The grapes are harvested during the month of September, when they are at their optimum ripening time. After precise ripening control, the vines are selected and harvested so that the grapes arrive healthy and in the best conditions for winemaking

winemaking

Young white wine organic and vegan certified.

Cold film maceration for 8 hours, subsequent bleeding of the wort and fermentation at a controlled temperature between 16-18oC. Aging with the lees in storage for two months.
