Maximum reflection of the purest expression of the D.O. Toro terroir.

Bodegas Cuatro Mil Cepas is a small organic and sustainable winery, within the DO Toro. A project created in 2008 with the intention of making wines with personality. Passionate about our Castilian land that gives us the best fruit.

 

Since 2015 we have been producing organic wines, although our management in the field is more demanding than the regulations established in organic viticulture, since our main objective is to maintain a balanced relationship with the vineyard.

Thanks to our passion for the field, the process and the product, our vineyards produce wines with character and personality, always seeking the maximum expression of the terroir.

We currently have six parcels of vineyards in the D.O. Toro, with an area of 20.5 ha of vineyards of the Tinta de Toro variety, between 40 and 95 years old.

vinification
Vinification with pre-fermentation maceration of 4 days, carrying out two daily punch downs in fermentation and one until the end of the maceration. Fermentation at low temperature and maceration for 31 days.
 

tasting notes
Cherry red color, with medium-high layer, with great aromatic complexity, reminiscent of raspberry jam, with slight nuances of spices and roasted, in the mouth the freshness of the fruits reappears, in combination, with a sweet and expressive tannin. , typical of the variety, which gives value and strength to the wine, with a long and very attractive finish.
